Island Hopping

On the horizon of our turquoise seas, you can see the many neighboring islands surrounding beautiful Sint Maarten. From the South, you can see St. Barthélemy, Saba, St. Eustatius, and St. Kitts. From the North, you can view Anguilla. With a ferry or short plane ride, St. Maarten, known for being a hub, offers many avenues to explore the various Caribbean islands and their colorful people. When you visit St. Maarten there's so much more to get out of your vacation, and an endless amount of opportunities to discover. Island hopping can be an amazing day trip or the ultimate St. Maarten getaway. 

A Trip to Luxury

Anguilla, known for its stunningly pristine beaches, lavish villas, and gourmet cuisine, is only a 20-minute ferry ride away from the island making it the perfect day trip destination. Leaving from St. Maarten, take a ferry with one of the many private charters leaving from Princess Juliana International Airport (PJIA) for $65 USD one-way. Trips begin at 8 am and return at 5 pm. Departing from St. Martin, head to the Marigot Marina to catch the public ferry for $20 USD one-way. Fares do not cover departure taxes and fees. Ferries depart from St. Martin every 45-minutes, starting as early as 8:30 am with the last ferry returning to St. Martin at 6:15 pm. You can also arrive at Anguilla's white sandy shores through a short 7-minute flight via Anguilla Air Service or take a private charter.

A Quiet Escape

Saba is a great getaway if you are looking to relax and explore the Caribbean ecosystem. With a total area of 5 sq. mi, the island contains the highest peak in the Netherlands, Mt. Scenery, which is an active volcano. Saba is one of the best diving spots in the region and is known to be a great whale-watching spot for marine lovers.
Visit Saba with a quick 20-minute flight via Winair or take a 1-2 hour ferry from Pelican Marina in Simpson Bay. The ferry costs $50 USD one-way or $75 USD for a day trip. Check-in begins at 8:15 am with a sharp departure time of 9 am. 

A Famous Getaway

St. Barthélemy, commonly known as St. Barts, is the gem of the French Caribbean. Arrive in the island’s capital, Gustavia, via ferry from Marigot or Oyster Pond. Trips can vary from 45 – 75 minutes and costs on average 60 Euros. You can fly into St. Barths, a short 15-minute flight, from PJIA via Winair. St. Barths has over 300 private villas and is one of the cleanest and safest islands in the region. The island is a favorite amongst models, celebrities, and influencers.

An Outdoor Adventure

St. Martin also offers access to two local islands, Pinel and Tintamarre. Both make amazing day trips. You can get to Pinel by kayak, paddleboard, or ferry. Pinel offers great dining experiences with amazing views of St. Martin. Ferries depart from Cul de Sac every 30-minutes; be sure to check the schedule before arriving. Tintamarre is a remote uninhabited island off the coast of St. Martin is known for its turquoise waters and pristine shores that can only be accessed via private charter. It makes a great destination for a boat trip or overnight camping.
