The staff are great: Sasha, Michelin and Bridelica! The construction has been completed, rooms are completely updated with windows, sliders, tile bathrooms, kitchen (cabinets and SS appliances), and furniture. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance, we recommend The Greenhouse ask for Shanieska, and Chesterfield's.
Our unit was nicely renovated yet could still use some work. Our air conditioner made loud snapping noises and woke us up several time each night. The location is very good for beach and shopping but Philipsburg is pretty quiet once the cruise ships leave town so I would not stay at this location again.
Absolutely Awesome View from my Balcony! My room is totally renovated with new everything. Nice sofa sleepers, great bedroom with a king size bed, two full bathrooms, privacy door, and a million dollar view of that Aquamarine Caribbean Ocean at Great Bay, plus all those massive cruise ships porting across the bay. So peaceful and like Heaven.
My wife and I stayed at the Sea Palace for one week during the middle of April. We had a fantastic stay. We were greeted by Michelin and the manager, Ms. Petrinia Elliott. Both were professional and warm to us, especially Ms. Elliott. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment facing the sea. What a magnificent view of the boardwalk, coastline, and cruise ships. Our apartment was refurbished with new furniture and modern appliances. We felt at home and intend to stay here again.
We just arrived home after a two week visit in SXM. We stayed at Sea Palace and we thoroughly enjoyed the suite, brand new furniture with an absolute breathtaking view of Great Bay. Crystal clear blue ocean steps from the Sea Palace. The Sea Palace was spotless clean and had everything we needed to make our vacation just wonderful. I particularly liked to see the cruise ships coming and going while enjoying an early morning coffee on the balcony. We loved the Honky Tonk which is steps from the beach. Great food no matter what we ordered. Service was also excellent. Shops, restaurants, liquor store and grocery store all within walking distance. We did one excursion which was a catamaran to Anguilla. This is a must do. An incredible day of sailing on the Sugar Rush to Rendevous Bay in Anguilla where we were treated to a wonderful buffet lunch and an afternoon of swimming followed by more sailing, good music and cheese and crackers. A full day of paradise! This was our 2nd trip to this beautiful island and won't be our last.
