PHILIPBUSRG, St. Maarten (Aug. 19, 2011) - St. Maarten, known for its impeccable cuisine, duty-free shopping, nighttime haunts and beautiful beaches, welcomes its first Apple iStore and the newest gastronomic pleasure, The Taste Factory.

The new Apple iStore, located on Front Street in Philipsburg, is an authorized reseller and retailer of Apple products and the first iStore in St. Maarten. Different from the "Apple Stores" in that the iStore only sells Apple products and is focused on targeting a certain niche for the brand and its products. Locals and travelers to the island can purchase all their favorite accessories including the iPhone, iPad, iPod and more.

With new developments popping up island-wide and St. Maarten evolving into a more diverse Caribbean nation offering travelers and locals more than just a beachside escape, the island recently welcomed The Taste Factory. The crème de la crème of bakeries on the island offers guests a whimsical experience that is a mix of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and a 1950s diner. The art-deco inspired shop offers delicious delights from quiches to éclairs, tarts, custards and milk shakes. The quaint bakery is located on Airport Boulevard in Simpson Bay.
